We all love our furry members of the family, but we hate the months when they are shedding their fur. If you are like me, you have to sweep every other day to stay on top of the pet hair. Thankfully, we have found a few tricks to help you remove the pet hair from your furniture.
- Get a damp cloth or sponge and wipe it lightly across your furniture to help remove the hair. The damp cloth will grab the pet fur and remove it from your furniture. You can also mix a few drops of fabric softener with water in a spray bottle. Spray a light mist on your couch, chairs, etc and then wipe off with a dry cloth. The hair will stick to your cloth and you can simply throw it away.
- Create your own lint roller with sticky tape. Simply wrap the tape around your hand and run your hand over your clothes, curtains, or furniture.
- Simply use your vacuum to remove pet hair from the floor, your furniture, or even curtains. Make sure when you are looking for a vacuum to help you remove pet hair, that the vacuum has really strong suction. There are vacuums that are designed to remove pet hair, which come with different attachments so you can remove the hair from any crevice.
- Groom your fur babies on a regular basis. This will help you remove some fur and dander before it makes its way to your furniture.
All pets are going to shed some hair from time to time, but by staying pro-active, you can keep your home clean and fur free. If you are in need of extra cleaning, contact Two Ladies and a Mop to schedule a free in home consultation.
